This year I worked with Kickin’ Cancer of Southwest Georgia a small group of volunteers in Thomasville, Georgia dedicated to fighting cancer. Each year they raise funds through t-shirt sales and a fund raising calendar which honors local cancer survivors. Each month of the calendar is sponsored by a local business and the photoshoot took place in or around their business location and the models for each month where nominated to appear in the calendar.
Kickin’ Cancer of SWGA’s mission is to assist in emotional and monetary support for cancer survivors currently going through treatment in Thomas County and surrounding areas. It was so much fun to work with this wonderful group of people! Meeting and getting to know the survivors through the photos shoots was a real treat. We laughed and had a great time!

These are my contributions to the 2017 calendar!
It was difficult to choose which images to use for the calendar. These are my favorites from the month of May. Will and Mary are mother and son survivors! No better way to honor mother’s day than with this cute mother and son having a tender moment outside of Metta Day Spa in historic downtown Thomasville, Georgia.
I met with Miss Delores and Regina both Breast cancer survivors at Flowers Honda of Thomasville. I told them to act like they were going for a drive. I got the first boring image and expressions, then I told her to pretend she had just been told she won the car and her’s to drive away. She was so excited. I love the final image! We all laughed so hard!
Cuteness overload for the month of April! Soda time with pets and residents of Southern Pines Senior Living.
Kristen and Kelly Claire represent June and show how to stay protected from skin cancer when going into the sun by always wearing sunscreen, as well as protective eyewear and bathing suits.
These ladies represent March and Chiropractic Solutions of Thomasville. The expression on Ms. Arlene’s face is priceless.
We had fun cutting up and playing dentist at Dr. Shepard’s office in Thomasville.
