I am proud to be a member of HeARTs Speak, a global network of photographers, writers, graphic designers, sculptors, painters, illustrators, and animal advocates who provide their time and professional services pro bono to animal welfare organizations in their communities. It is great to be a part of an group of artists dedicated to serving and giving animals a voice through art.
I am excited to announce that I will be joining HeARTs Speak’s Perfect Exposure Project this summer! The Perfect Exposure Project equips shelters with photography equipment and training workshops, empowering staff and volunteers of all skill sets and backgrounds to positively and effectively promote the animals in their care. I will be traveling to high-intake (open-admission) animal shelters in the United States with a group of photographers and other artists as we teach photography classes and help show shelter workers how to increase adoptions with great photographs! I can’t wait to share my experience and knowledge of photographing cats and help animals across America! Next stop Johnson City, Tennessee to work with the Washington County Animal Shelter!
The Perfect Exposure Project is made possible through grants, and generous donations from companies such as Purina and the Petco Foundation. To learn more about HeART Speak and the Perfect Exposure Project click here!
