Julia and Adam – Wedding day in Southern Georgia – Lindsi Jones

Julia and Adam were married on August 12, 2017.   They had a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony at Julia’s home church followed by a rock’in reception at The Patterson in Valdosta, Georgia.   Here are a few of my favorites highlights from the day. Enjoy!

Adam and Julia had their first date at Steel Magnolia’s Restaurant in Valdosta, GA which was less than a block from their reception so we stopped in for a few portraits.

Parker Belle Morgan – In the Game Sports Magazine – Lindsi Jones Photography

This May I lucky to meet photograph Parker Belle Morgan of the Deerfield-Windsor Lady Knights soccer team for a feature on her accomplishments in this months issue of In the Game Magazine. Parker broke the career scoring record at Deerfield-Windsor with 125 goals and her senior year is still ahead of her. I enjoyed getting to know this great young athlete and hear her plans for the future.  Best of luck on upcoming Senior year!

101 Cats in Bow Ties invades Thomasville, Georgia

101 Cats in Bow Ties and the kitties of Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary invaded downtown Thomasville, Georgia this weekend.  On June 3rd Grassroots coffee hosted 101 Cats in Bow Ties, An Exhibition of Feline Portraits by Lindsi Jones.   Cats covered the walls, paw prints covered the side walk, and cats hung out for meet and greets in 6 businesses across downtown Thomasville to kick off adopt -a- cat month.  The Bookshelf hosted celebrity performing cat Louie the Rockstar and held a special cat themed story time and cat craft time for kids on Saturday morning.  Cat lovers flocked to downtown Thomasville to join in on the feline fun.  Grassroots coffee served cat-themed beverages all weekend, and the staff dressed as cats in bow ties. Local cat celebrity and former Miss Kitty resident Silver greeted guests as they entered the exhibit, and participated in a fun cat scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes.  Fun was had by all!
