On November 3rd I photographed the wedding of Shari and Brett. Shari and I have been friends for a very long time. I was really excited to photograph her wedding. They were married at Hahira Methodist Church and the reception was held at Stone Creek Country Club.
Here are a few images from the day.
They had a very big wedding party.
Brett is a firemen with the Valdosta Firedepartment, so the two of them rode away from the wedding on a firetruck.

We had just enough time to get a few shots in right before the sun went down on the golf course.

The happy couple!

October 20 took me to the King and Prince Resort on St. Simon’s Island for the wedding of Lisa and Joe. I was really excited about shooting this wedding because I love St. Simon’s Island. Its one of my favorite places. Lisa and Joe were an awesome couple to work with and I had a really great time shooting them. They did not have a large wedding party so I was able to focus more time on the two of them. It was great. We went all over the island, but rather than go on and on I will just show you some images.
Enjoy!
I love the lighthouse. I love it so much that I couldn’t leave without climbing it. It was about to close so we begged the staff to let us go to the top and they did.

We made a few stops on the way up.
They stayed at the top while I made my way down so I could get this shot. How many people get to have wedding photos from the top of a lighthouse? Lisa and Joe do!
Lisa and Joe were interested in having some casual photos taken as well. They asked their guests and family to all wear khaki and white and we had a photo session down on the beach after the wedding.
Here are a couple from that part of the day.
On October 14 I had an engagement session with Steven and Autumn. For their session we strolled around downtown Valdosta. I am really looking forward to shooting their wedding this December. See you soon guys!
Here are a few images from their session. Enjoy!
September 13, 2007 brings us to the wedding of Shannon and Wes. Their wedding took place in the chapel at Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta, GA. This was my first time shooting at Moody. The weather was perfect and made for a really pretty day. Congratulations Shannon and Wes!
I had 3 sessions the week of October 7th.
On Sunday I spent the afternoon with one of my best friends in the world Emily, and her soon to be husband John. I have been friends with Emily since we were about 4. I will be shooting her wedding in December. I am really looking forward to it.
Emily and John decided to include Duke in some of the photos.

Later in the week I photographed Misty. This was not the first time Misty and I have worked together and we had alot of fun on the square in Nashville shooting these.
Last but certainly not least I had another engagement session with Lacy and Shane. Lacy and Shane were a really cool couple to work with. I will be shooting their wedding 0n April 12, 08. Their session took place at Valdosta State’s North Campus, and then a little park in Valdosta.
Here are couple from North Campus.
For these photos we climbed on a Merry-go-round. Shane got us going really fast and then he jumped on. I seriously thought I was going to get sick from spinning on this thing. I am really pleased with how the photos turned out though. We were going really fast!

Tara and Mike were married on October 6, 2007. They had such a beautiful wedding and reception. The wedding was held at the Nashville United Methodist Church and the reception at the Carter Clark House in Nashville, GA. I have photographed many events at the Carter Clark house, but I have never seen it look as good as it did for Tara and Mike’s reception. They did a great job setting everything up.
Here are a few shots from the wedding. Enjoy!

They rode away in a horse drawn carriage. I thought this was really neat. They rode through Nashville, I know it had to be something to see them coming down the road.
