Matthew and Bray

Here is one of my latest portrait sessions. It is several things rolled into one, Spring time portraits, Bray’s one year portraits, and father and son portraits of Matthew and Bray together. We met up on Bray’s first birthday for these photos. Here are a few of my favorites.  Isn’t Bray a cutie?

I think this one is my most favorite.  As I have mentioned many times before in previous blog posts. I love photos that involve hands.

You can visit the Client Area of www.lindsi.com to see all of the photos from this session soon!

Sarah and Ben

Sarah and Ben are such a sweet couple!  I met them a few years ago in a Geology class we had together at Valdosta State.  I was excited when Sarah contacted me about their wedding plans.  I love when I get the chance to work with old classmates and friends. I am looking forward to shooting their wedding this Spring at Park Avenue Methodist.  Here are a few images from the shoot.  Enjoy!

Chandler- Senior Portraits

If you have not had your Senior portraits made now is a great time!  I met up with Chandler last week for his Senior portrait session.  It was a lot of fun.  Chandler is so photogenic! I had a hard time picking out some favorites.  Which one do you like best?

Email me to set up your Senior portrait session!

Keep me. Protect me. Share me.

I have been a little personal on my blog here lately, and I wanted to share something that really touched my heart. I found this video on a fellow photographers blog, Kelly Williams, and was so moved by it that I wanted to share in on my blog as well.

This video fits perfectly with my views on photographs and their importance in people’s lives. I think that photographs are one of the most valuable things a person can have. This helps explain why I feel that being a photographer and capturing lives, memories, and people is one of the most rewarding things that I can do with my life.  I take pride in what I do. I love what I do. I love being a photographer.

Please check out this video. It is about 6 minutes long, but WELL worth the watch. The ending is the best part! Warning you might need a tissue for the ending. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Nana

Today I lost my Nana.   She passed after a long and difficult battle with cancer.  I can’t describe the sadness I am feeling at this time, but also the feeling of relief in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is now at peace.  My Nana was an amazing woman, a loving grandmother, and one of my best friends.  Those of you who knew her know how funny, and full of life she once was.  She will be missed dearly.

I want to share my favorite photo of Nana and me.  I have always loved this photo, especially now. I will cherish it always.

Thank you to everyone that has sent messages and condolences during this difficult time,

Lindsi
