Taylor, Eric, and kids

I am working to get caught up on my blogging. I have many sessions and weddings on the way!   This shoot is from June.   Eric and Taylor were like my brothers growing up.  We went on many family vacations together as kids.   I was exicited when their mother contacted me for photos of her sons and her grandchildren.  This session was a father’s day gift to her sons.  What a great gift!   We had beautiful weather for the shoot and a great location. Here are a few of my favorites.

They all have such pretty blue eyes!

Taylor with his son Greyson. Greyson is soo cute!

Eric with Sara Kate, and Sheppard

Horse Creek Winery- Nashville, GA

I wanted to take some time to invite my readers to check out Horse Creek Winery, located in Nashville, Georgia.  As you guys know Nashville, GA is my hometown and I am excited about this new establishment.

Horse Creek Winery is located in heart of Perry Vineyards in Nashville, GA. Over 40 acres of some of the highest quality, sweetest Muscadine grapes in America. The winery began in 1992 as a fresh-fruit vineyard.  Owner Ed Perry specializes in muscadines and soon was shipping the sweet, savory grapes all over the Southeast, and from New York to Miami and even out west to Texas.  With the realization that his grapes were the main ingredient in desired wines at other well-known wineries in the South, Ed Perry began thinking about making wines from his own vineyard.  And it didn’t take him long to get started.  He and his wife Andrea Perry along with Jeff and Allen Dorsey began Horse Creek Winery in 2008 and built a beautiful tasting and banquet room which also houses the tanks and other equipment to create their wonderful wines.

On my last trip to the winery I brought my camera and made some photographs to share.  Enjoy!

Pictured here is Horse Creek’s current selection of wines.  Big Red, and Ponderosa Gold are my favorites! These wines are created in bottled in Nashville, GA.

Here are some of the awesome details of the winery.  The tasting room is beautifully decorated. The atmosphere at Horse Creek is so relaxing.   To the right is the iconic silo-turned-wine-bottle. It’s really cool.

This is the tasting room which also houses the tanks used to create Horse Creek Wine.  The interior of this building is great for any event.  It is currently available for rent for social gatherings, and events such as Weddings and receptions.

Horse Creek Winery is open for wine tastings every Wed-Sat, 1-6pm.  They also often host special events featuring live music by local musicians. It’s a great place to relax and spend time with good friends. I know I am looking forward to my next trip out and hope to shoot a few sessions in the Vineyard as soon as the vines get nice and green.  Be sure to visit www.horsecreekwinery.com for more information on the location, wines, grapes, and the full story behind Horse Creek Winery.
